In your opinion, what are perhaps the stupidest movies you've ever seen? Ones that made you feel like you've wasted your money, or were just downright bad or illogical or plain silly.

Personally, The Core tops the list, just ahead of Starship Troopers.

I have to agree on Napoleon Dynamite. Quite possibly one of the most pointless movies I've seen lately.

I stay well away from dumb movies, but I did have the "honour" of sitting through National Lampoon's Last Resort once. It was painful.

Alien 4. I did, however, find the ending hilarious.

Either Epic Movie or The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl. Both extremely rubbish!

Stupidest movie... Munchies! A movie about little monsters that attack people - the SFX consisted of hand puppets and in one scene the puppets are actually repeatedly thrown against the window of a door, whilst the people inside shout "Oh my God, they're trying to get in!"

Worst, most pointless movie... Eyes Wide Shut. I watched it twice, just to make sure there was not some subtle genius at work that I missed. There isn't.

Oh, and I liked Napolean Dynamite, I just think you can't put a movie like that on the pedastal it's been put on. If people expect something great from it, they'll be really disappointed.

yeah, I would have to agree on that too. it is a pretty dumb movie.

Anyways, another couple of ones are Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions. The first movie was okay, but the other two were pretty much just mindless action thrillers. No real point to them at all, and poorly done computer graphics.

Yeah, agreed. In fact, I think that every time I watch it. :D

Andy Warhol's "Frankenstein"
Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (the one that wasted Christopher Lambert's talent)
Fraternity Vacation
Battle of the Worlds
