Holy sh** that is crazy. I wondered what happend to Benoit, there was no way he always felt that way or he would have killed his son, wife and himself a long time ago. I have thought of a scenario that makes some sense to me.

I think he had an extremely intense argument with his wife which ended in violence and him losing it and strangling her. The next day he spent with his son, he probably thought of what the world would be like for his son with him in prison and his mother dead. Saw a future of endless foster homes and the such for his son who is already disabled. He knew his son was innocent and probably saw him suffocating him as a way of sending his boy to heaven. He probably felt he was beyond being saved (which is wrong but a common feeling) and commited suicide himself.

This have been known for about a month, but Chris Benoit was severly brain damaged at the time of his death. All of the centers in his brain were damaged, and the doctors performing the obduction claimed that he was basically at the same level as an 85-year old with severe Alzheimer's. It has also been proved that brain damage may cause anti-social behaviour (as with Phineas Gage). The reason why Benoits brain was examined, was because Chris Benoit used to be a peacefull person.

He was also known to have a poor memory, and it is said that he blackouts were he would walk around his house with a crucifix (despite the fact that he was an atheist). Furthermore, Chris Benoit was under a lot of pressure because of steroids (his testosterone level was ten times that of a normal man at the time of his death), difficulties in the family, and the death of Eddie Guerrero, one of his best friends.

Chris benoit's son was only slightly ret*d, and was going to begin in a normal class. His son had a fragile X-chromosome, but there have been reports of people with this syndrome who has an IQ of 85.

I think Chris Benoit commited suicide when he realized what he had done.

i read somewhere that part of the reason that his brain was so badly damaged was due to the multiple concussions that he suffered during his career.

That news is really old. Also, he killed his family and himself.
