I don't know why, but I sorta felt this section of the forums needed a topic like this. Do any of you have crushes on fictional characters? If so, which ones? Feel free to list them. (I'll list mine later).

absolutely!! Mr Darcy, in all his forms in the various versions of P&P, except Bride&Prejudice, that Darcy isn't good at all, Colonel Brandon, Aragorn, Faramir(especially in the ROTK extended edition....houses of healing scene....he makes my knees weak), Sharpe, Captain Wentworth, Nicholas Nickelby, David Copperfield....I'm an old fashioned romantic....<sigh>

Yupa,
If you are having trouble distinguishing between real and ficticious people, there are drugs that can help fix that. :)

It depends on my current obsession but Archie Goodwin from the Nero Wolfe books is my all time standby. :)

PS. Great topic

Well, here's the list I said I'd post
It's organized like this:
character- where character is from

Hesseth- The Coldfire trilogy by C.S. Friedman
Aditu- Memory, Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams
Luna Lovegood- The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Lirael- The Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix
Takani Megumi- Rurouni Kenshin
Kougaiji (I'm usually pretty straight, but this is an exception)- Saiyuki
Cheza- Wolf's Rain

And I might think of more later.

I am not in love with any fictional characters, however, many fictional characters are somewhat infatuated with me. It gets annoying sometimes actually.

Sissy Jupe from Charles Dickens' 'Hard Times'. She is just so beautiful and has such a caring personality.
