Was anyone else addicted to this as a kid or is it just me? I know reality was thrown out the window and it had some truly quirky characters (aliens), but I could not miss a single episode. Now I have the entire collection on DVD.

I wish I had the entire collection on DVD!

I used to watch it as a kid, but only because my mother was an avid fan when she was a kid, she taped the whole series (VHS). We had to throw them out. :(

Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!

Was a wonderful series.

Used to get home from school and watch it in glorious 405 line black and white :)

I like the way all alien spacecraft took off with that spectacular explosion.

Loved Lost in Space, in fact growing up liked anything to do with space/Universe...

I remember when that show first came out, with the pilot movie. I was an avid fan and would watch every episode, even when I'd seen it many times before. I had some favorites, too. And oh, yes. I had a crush on one of the actors - Mark Goddard.

Lost in and Spaced out in the 60s topic

I used to like this series. I also liked Time Tunnel, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Fireball XL5, Stingray (remember Supermarionation?), Diver Dan, Twilight Zone (original series), Bwana Don, Sea Hunt, Forest Rangers (HuH? I had a crush on Chub). The last three are not SciFi, and the last one was a Canadian series. Maybe Diver Dan was just a live action/puppet show.

Do not forget the Outer Limits! :D

Did anyone ever see a show called "One Step Beyond?" It was sort of like the Twilight Zone.

I meant opposed to the subsequent movie based on the series. I suppose just stating "the series" would suffice, but you know what I mean. :D

They seem to not be selling season 3 in Australia at the moment - I've got Seasons 1 and 2.

I love the one with the frog in the spaceship and the balloons on the sand.

you mean the Movie vs. the series. Most of the cast was in the movie, in various cameos (the ones still living, that is..;) The movie was silly. Will Robinson, as some may know, became a Minbari in Babylon 5...;)

actually, in retrospect, I didn't think the movie was ALL silly.

The first hour was great - where they mostly copied the first episodes of the TV series. It was only when the writers were supposed to write by themselves that the movie got stuffed.

Also - I love the Apollo440 version of the theme.
