How many TV channels do you have access to where you live? I don't have pay TV, so I only get five channels: ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation, not American Broadcasting Company), Seven, Nine, Ten and SBS (Special Broadcasting Service). I also sometimes get a community station called C31 but it doesn't always work in my area.

We get about 20-30 free channels via our digital Freeview system in the UK - all in Widescreen too!

Along with the usual BBC and ITV channels we get some nice stuff like Men & Motors, TMF (MTV owned), BBC News 24 etc. Then there's the dross like Bid Up TV (live auctions) etc.

Channel 7...PBS
Channel 12...NBC
Channel 17...WB
Channel 25...ABC (always a bit fuzzy because ABC sucks so much)
Channel 30...FOX
Channel 43...MTV2 I don't how I'm catching this, but the resception is bad anyways.
Channel 47...CBS It used to UPN, but the black community here is next to non-existant.
Channel 59...Christian TV station.

9 channels! :D

I get about 63 channels where I live.

If you have digital cable, you get over 1000.

Our TV goes up to 62 or something like that, but only about 30 of the stations come in at all. Half of those are in foreign languages (mostly Mandarin and Spanish), so I only watch about 5 different channels in all.

Without Cable nor Satellite, we probably wouldn't get good reception of the channels here unless we aim the antennas at the right spot. None of the TV markets reach us well with their signals.

But since were talking channels here are mine: in the Fresno, CA area

Cable/TV

2/21 - Univisión
3/30 - ABC (O&O)
4/24 - NBC
5/59 - WB
6/26 - Fox
7/47 - CBS
8/18 - PBS
9/49 - EWTN (Eternal World Televison Network) A Catholic Network
10/43 - Not sure, usually does a ton of infomercials
11/51 - Telemundo
12/66 - Telefutura
13/53 - UPN
?/55 - Azteca América. A US broadcast of Azteca TV, a Mexican network.

We have a few stations from the San Francicso Bay Area (KQED 9 = PBS and KTVU 2 = Fox)

I have digital with some of the premium packages (HBO, Starz, Encore, and Showtime) with a total of over 100 channels. But a hole in the wallet though at $90 a month.
