I used to watch films an awful lot a few years ago. I was into arthouse films and I had a large DVD collection of foreign films. Since that time though I've rather lost interest in films and have instead transferred my interest to photography.

I'm in grad school, have no money and a deep and undying interest in Batman.

I have been watching movies all my life and I have seen thousands of movies. When I used to se my dad over the weekend, he would take me to the Cinema and I loved it. I am an actor now and have appered in low-budget indapendant films and hope one day to do mainstream cinema.

yeah, for the past year and a half i've been an animation student, i've always been interested in films, i got into animation because i wanted to get into the visual effects industry. I really think my interest and knowledge exploded last year when i got a netflix subscription and got to experience so many more great films. now every film i see i have to research like crazy. im transferring to a new school next year to study film after i get a two year degree in animation for sure.

I've always loved films .... My three lifelong special interests are ;

1. Doctor Who
2. Films
3. Star Wars

I've got lots of other S.I.'s but those three have been with me almost forever.

I've got a few DVDs too, as of today; 1832 and still going strong...
I usually buy 20 per month but lately they've been drying up for some reason

I chose "I rarely go to the cinema but like dvds now and again". These days, I rarely ever go to the cinema, because of the high cost of cinema tickets. I usually borrow movies from the library.

Prefer DVDs and TV shows to actually going to the cinema.

i have a wide variety of movies that i will tolerate. i absolutely love from the 80's, 70's, 60's, 50's etc...

some of my favorite movies rest as 12 angry men, fear and loathing in las vegas, on the waterfront, rear window, the kid, the circus, city lights, and lawrence of arabia.

i currently own all of the movies listed, except for on the waterfront, the circus, city lights, and rear window.

charlie chaplin movies, the circus and city lights, cost more than i can handle because they add in all these special features with the movie...$29.99 at barnes and noble.

going to the cinema is quite a treat for me since several things at the cinema enhance my experience(the large screen, the audience's different reactions, actually sitting still to watch a movie, etc...)

I have lists that I check constantly and when I see a sale coming I get prepared.

The Chaplin films are normally $35-39 in Australia (the good quality versions). I waited till they dipped temporarily and got them for $15 each. They're now back up to $35

that all depends for me, films are meant to be seen in a theater and they really benefit from it much more than on dvd. but i suppose a nice television and surround system are the next best thing to a theater. some films i just cant wait another 6 months for the dvd release, the anticipation kills me.
