Is it just me or are a lot of skits for MADtv and SNL revolve around aspie-like characters thrust into different contexts? I love MADtv and SNL has it's moments. But for so many years, have I been laughing at myself?

Ive thought about this as well.. But the characters the actors are playing out have to have a very very extreme case of it.. If such a thing even exists.

Those things don't usually cross my mind, but I like MadTV better.

MadTV makes fun of all groups--including races, professions, age and gender. So yeah, you're laughing at yourself, but you're laughing at everyone else too. :)
