anybody here big Daria fans? i managed to score a bootleg of the complete series and i watch it all the time while i'm working. i think it's one of the best shows ever period, animated or otherwise. i think it really appeals to all kinds of social misfits, even those with AS.

if you are a fan, got a favorite character? Daria has so many, but my favorite has to be Kevin and Britney. not only are they great characters, but they proved to be oddly prophetic (think about it. Kevin and Britney? you'll get it).

I've never seen it, but I've heard it's good.

Isn't it a spin-off of Beavis and Butt-Head?

My daughter ~IS~ Daria. Someone must have walked around after her, taking notes.

Hey,

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Daria! If she was real, I so would have wanted to go out with her. (but I'm taken, and very much in love :)

I am hanging out for MTV to actually release the full series. Everybody wants it, and MTV have announced that they would consider it. They're fools if they don't.

I read that MTV is having problems getting it out on DVD because of music royalties. The show used a lot of music from name bands and musicians. At time, the artists allowed the music to be used for a standard royalty fee you get from syndication.

But that didn't include DVD releases, and so many artists and record companies are wanting a higher percentage of royalties, which would be to costly to even put the show out on DVD.

The only alternative, if a settlement isn't made, is to put the DVD's out with the music removed from them, which I'm sure people wouldn't be happy with.

Yup....love it so much....sometimes I feel it's the only good show on MTV, compared with something like Laguna Beach.

I adore this show, when it came to Daria's personality and wit, I was a mirror image of her when I was in high school, I just did not give a hoot.

She's not on the telly round here anymore. But when she was on, yup. I used to love watching Daria.

Major Daria fan. I have every episode as a Limewire download.

This is one of the most intelligent comedies to come out of the USA, and it's unique in the large variety of character archetypes portrayed in the cast.

I. Loved. Daria.

It was SO hilarious, and her personality reminded me so much of my own. I'm going to try to find the episodes online. I already found the complete library of Thundercats. heh I remembered it being so much better....

despite the fact that I have daughters older than her, I thought Daria was the bomb...;)
if she'd been around when I was that age, I'd have wanted to hang with her (but I would probably have been cut to ribbons by that sarcastic wit...;)

Saw her on the noggin (I think) a couple years ago....
