Top 30 favorite movies
Cheesy, I know. I was just somewhat frustrated with the "top 5 favorite movies" thread because I couldn't include everything I wanted to. I'm a serious movie fan and my favorite films each have a deep and powerful resonance to me. So post your top 30 (less, if you can't think of that many, or more, if it simply must be longer). I think mine might be:
King Kong (1933)
Evil Dead 2
Being John Malcovich
Heavy Traffic
Taxi Driver
American Beauty
Conan the Barbarian
Deliverance
Ninja Scroll
Dawn of the Dead (1978)
The Last Temptation of Christ
Road Warrior
Robocop
Wizards
Ed Wood
Aliens
Unforgiven
La Femme Nikita
The Last Exit to Brooklyn
Princess Mononoke
Rob Roy
A Clockwork Orange
Quills
Akira
LoTR (does this count as one movie, or three?)
Planet of the Apes (1968)
Chinatown
Pulp Fiction
Adaptation
Donnie Darko
That about wraps it up for me . . .

Not to be critical, but what are the reasons that you chose not to include Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and instead had Winnie the Pooh?
