It's the new movie The Story of Luke about the autistic character. What's your take on the movie?

Your welcome. Click on featured movies on top. The movie should be on the first page. Use putlocker/sockshare links. They don't freeze like the other links. Happy watching :)

I just saw the first 30 minutes of it. Interesting so far but I get this "Hollywood aspie" feeling already. You know, pack in as much traits as possible so the audience could see how really different he is. One day I'm gonna take a poll as to how many aspies here on WP can actually identify and relate to Luke, Adam, Max and all the others.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know whats up with his weird facial expressions. I never seen that before in a autistic person. They also depicted him as brutally honest all the time. I mean I am honest most of the time, but not to that extent where I blurt out what doesn't need to be said. At least it's a improvement from the character Adam. Maybe the next movie with autism will be on the ball lol

Yeah. Here's the link for a new movie about an aspiring baseball player with Asperger's.

The Legend of Mickey

Yay! I saw the Story of Luke tonight. I can review it in three words - Rain Man lite. I'd need to meet a lot of aspies in person to see if his behaviours are typical of some aspies. Still, it was an autistic film so I can't complain. They don't make that many as it is, so I suppose we should be grateful.
