Any voyager fans here?
Tell me what you favorite characters are.

Mine are the doctor and seven of nine.
I still think they would have been a happy couple.

Any ways what do you think.

I was a casual watcher of the series but I liked Tom Paris, especially the episode where he was in the holodeck and was working on a classic Camaro

I also liked the Doctor, but I kind of thought in the back of my mind, they were doing Data all over again. However, we didnt have to wait nearly 11 years( TNG and the movies) to see the Doctor's development.

Yes but I think the doctors personality is much better then data s. But I never thought about the connection between then before. Good observation!!

silentbob15 I like your avatar. They are bringing back red dwarf if you didn't know.

I don't live in the UK myself but my boyfriend does. He says they are having commercials on the BBC about it.

I'm excited about the return of the show.

I liked the Doctor, but I didn't care for the show. However, one of the episodes gave me a new catchphrase...

YOU WILL BE NULLIFIED.

silentbob15: I thought your comment about 7 of 9 being 36 of D was hilarious. The funniest thing I've read in a long time.

just-me: I live in the UK, and I watch BBC all the time, but I haven't seen anything about Red Dwarf coming back. Do you know any details? I thought it was great for the first few years, but gradually went downhill. It hit rock bottom when the holographic Rimmer left, the whole Red Dwarf crew were brought back to life, and the four main characters got sent to prison. The whole point of the show is that Lister is, as the theme song says, "all alone, more or less". But Lister is not really alone at all anymore, because there are other humans on the ship, rather than just a hologram, a robot and a cat.

But anyway, I'm going off-topic, sorry. Star Trek Voyager... yes, I quite liked it, but not as much as Deep Space Nine. The Kazon were just Klingons with worse hairstyles. As a captain, Janeway was possibly even more hypocritical than Kirk when it came to breaking the Prime Directive whenever she felt like it. 7 of 9's presence gave me a good reason to watch it, although for some reason I thought she was more sexy with grey skin and all that black mechanical stuff on her body, back when she was Borg. (How can a bald grey-skinned woman wearing a few wires and calculators look so good?) :)

My thoughts exactly. Red Dwarf was freaking hilarious until the last two seasons when one of the writers left, then it wasn't really that funny anymore... it became just another lame sitcom. If they really are bringing it back, I hope they don't "smeg it up" again.

Yes indeed, Cyberman (cool avatar, by the way), Rob Grant is cleverer than Doug Naylor, so when Grant left, it was just that smeghead Naylor doing Red Dwarf. I've always thought that was the reason why it got worse. (Isn't "smeg" just the best made-up swear word ever?)

I liked 'em all, though if Enterprise had started like season 4, instead of season 1...it might still be on the air...;) That, and using the Patch Adams music as the theme song just made me grit my teeth...;)

I liked Voyager just fine. I was a bit miffed about the series finale (though I think Enterprise's was even more of a let-down...;), but ya gotta get your Star Trek fix however you can...;0

I liked Seven of Nine and the Borg children best.

For years, I hoped that someone at Paramount would have the idea of making a DS9/Voyager crossover movie in which the Borg would attack the Dominion! I imagined the poster would show Odo flanked by three strong women, Cpt. Janeway, Seven of Nine and Kira Nerys. I'm sure it would have been a better movie than Star Trek X...

wasn't Kira Nerys in the voyager books?

I don't remember her being in any tv episodes but I do remember her in the books. But I don't remember which one. I know it was a 2 to 3 book series she was in.
