Anyone here remember Small Wonder? This show was about a family with a robot in the form of a 10-year-old girl named Vicki (or, technically, V.I.C.I.--Voice Input Child Identicant), played by Tiffany Brissette. She/it was built by an engineer named Ted Lawson (played by Dick Christie), who worked at a fictional firm called United Robotronics. He had a wife named Joan Lawson, played by Marla Pennington (who couldn't stop thinking of Vicki as a real child); and a (human) son named Jamie Lawson, played by Jerry Supiran. They Lawsons even had nosy neighbors named the Brindles. There was Brandon Brindle--played by William Bogert--(Ted's boss at said firm, who did not know that Vicki was not a little girl, just a robot built to look like a little girl, because the Lawsons decided to keep her/its robot identity a secret from the outside world), who had a wife named Bonnie Brindle (played by Edie McClurg, who might be better known as Mrs. Poole from the movie Ferris Beuller's Day Off), and a daughter named Harriet Brindle--played by Emily Schulman--who had a huge crush on Jamie and thought that she was destined to marry him (but Jamie despised her and wished she would go away). Jamie had a best friend named Reggie Williams (played by Paul C. Scott). The show ran in syndication from 1985-1989 (and in reruns until 1996 on KTTV Channel 11, the Fox affiliate in Los Angeles, CA, where I have lived all my life. Sadly, the show is not on TV anywhere.

I love that show! My Sister and I used to watch it when we were kids. I was browsing through the TV Times about a month ago to see if it was still on in Canada. I'm hoping that they put it back on. That was one of my favroite shows, when I was growing up.
