If you think about it, the only difference is that the Snorks didn't have an equivalent to Gargamel.

Speaking of which, I have noticed that the personalities of Gargamel and Azrael are very similar to those of Dastardly and Muttley (and Paul Winchell did the voices of both Dastardly and Gargamel).
