I've always like a lot of stuff about it, from PBS shows, instructional television (educational films), etc.

I really like it too. My station plays a lot of interesting nature and animal stuff as well as travel specials sometimes.

Oh yes. That's about all I watch on TV anymore. I love Masterpiece Theatre (or Masterpiece: Classic as they're calling it now), Mystery, History Detectives, The Red Green Show, and the britcoms.

I watch a lot of PBS kids shows because I have a 3 year old. Every once and a while I'll turn on the TV at night and they'll be showing something like NOVA or another documentary type nature show, and I'll watch just because it's on. And Antiques Road Show is something my husband really likes for some odd reason.

I saw a good show about cats once. I generally don't watch public television. Every time there is something really interesting, it is broken up by interminably long pledge drives.

I usually record those and fast forward through the pledge drives.

I enjoy PBS too...lots of interesting programs on science, travel, & the occasional Irish music special.

PBS is the only TV station I get here out in the boonies. I can't see paying for satellite when so much of it is commercial filled crap. Anything good (such as Battlestar Galactica) I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD.

Favorite shows are Nova, Frontline, News Hour, the Saturday home improvement shows and British comedies, and of course Masterpiece mysteries on Sundays.

Downsides are the beg-a-thons and that the British stuff is usually years old. I guess the price they have to pay goes down the older it is. Oregon Public Broadcasting is still only on Dr. Who season 1, season 4 is playing in UK. Again, better to buy the DVD set.

Maybe it's the Aspie in me, but I can't start my Sunday mornings without The Best of the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross on Detroit Public Television.

I like "History Detectives" alot, along with the "Antiques Roadshow." I like the investigative stuff they do, it's really interesting how they uncover things.

My wife likes those shows plus the home improvement shows, She and her late father used to watch them together alot, and she still does, gives her new ideas for changing the house around.

We also like some of the cooking shows, like "America's Test Kitchen," we've tried some of their recipies and they came out great, and weren't hard to do. We have a bunch of their cookbooks and we highly recommend them.

We also get "Create!" on one of the digital suchannels of our PBS station. Basically, it shows 24 hours of shows that encourage you to create. They show home improvement shows, cooking shows, travel shows, art shows(like "Best of the Joy of Painting," which I think of as Bob Ross teaching from the grave), and other such shows. Saturdays are always a theme day, like on Cinco de Mayo they showed a bunch of episodes of "Daisy Cooks" and "Mexico One Plate at a Time," two other favorites of mine.

I've even answered phones during pledge drives.

I guess you could say I like PBS.
