I'm fearing that my study of how movies and TV shows are made is hindering my suspension of disbelief. It's kind of disappointing because I like losing myself in a movie or my favorite TV shows.

It's like I know they're supposed to entertain and take you away but knowing it's make believe and there's someone filming the thing with a whole crew behind the scenes ruins it for me.

I think more of us need that slap of reality upside the head, cause we get way too wrapped up in the lives of non-existent people.

I know the feeling. I took some acting and video production classes a while back. Ever since, I can't sit through a movie or watch a TV program and identify with the characters or the plot. What's worse, now I'm even more able to determine how the show will turn out...

"Y'see that guy in the Aloha shirt? He's gonna get whacked. And that girl with the big bazooms? She's only there because she can scream better than anyone else. Oh, and the nerd that everyone is ignoring is the serial killer..."
