The only one I've seen all the way through was the first of the original trilogy, so that wouldn't be much of a vote. I want to see the rest of them though, but there's not enough time.

I have to go with 3, because 4 was too boring, 5 the ending sucked, and 6 I wanted to kill the ewoks (though I did like that it sounded like they were say "Its Jo Momma")

In order of preference

1. The Empire Strikes Back
2. A New Hope
3. Revenge of the Sith
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Attack of the Clones
6. The Phantom Menace

I love TESB as it has the most human drama out of the whole lot. Although its a sequel, we find out more about these characters than we do in any of the other films.

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. A New Hope/Revenge of the Sith (can't decide, they are pretty much equal)
3. Return of the Jedi
4. Attack of the Clones
5. Phantom Menace

Though knowing Lucas, he'll probably do it anyhow...

Bec, how odd that your list and mine are almost exactly the same. I wonder if that's the common consensus though.

I would much reither have the 7 8 and 9 to know what happened after the fall of the Empire (the books dont do it justice from what Ive seen) but he has said that will never happen. Ive heard theres going to be a TV series that I think takes place between 3 and 4 describing the beginning of the Rebelion and the war.

the tv show is going to be set half way between the clone wars and rebellion. they're committed to making at least 100 1 hour episodes (so it can be syndicated) so it's a sinch that it will be on for at least 5 years minimum.

Though I am more of a Trekkie than Star Wars fan this is how I rate the movies.

1. Return of the Jedi
2. The Empire Strikes Back
3. A New Hope
4. The Phantom Menace
5. Attack of the Clones
6. Revenge of the Sith

If You would had (Return of the Jedi) in poll I would have voted for that one instead of (The Empire Strikes Back) then.
