It looks awesome to me, though I'm prepared to hear the comic book nerds bitching about minuscule details. Again.
I'm a huge comic book nerd, but I don't b***h about minuscule details. As long as the overall themes and ideas that make the reference material what it is are present, the details are incidental. But I think that is true any time you are converting something from one artistic medium to another.
I think in comic-to-move adaptations especially, you have to take into account that when people read comic books, they are more generous, shall we say, with their suspension of disbelief than they are with a movie. So what may work fine in a comic just won't work in a movie, and I personally understand that and try not to complain too much, as long as it's a good movie.
There has been a lot of complaining about some things in the Watchmen movie, but I for one think the few changes that were made were necessary (Sorry folks, the squid just wouldn't work).
I'm sure there will be some major departures from the Origins comic in this movie, but even the brief glimpses of it in the trailer seem to capture the emotion and trauma that made that such a great book. One thing I hope they do keep is the initial misdirection that was going on in the Origins book regarding which character would turn out to be Wolverine.
