I watched The Matrix for the first time since I've been married the other night and there's something in the movie that could be considered prophetic.

In the beginning of the movie, Trinity is on the phone with Morpheus who tells her there's a herd-line at the corner of Wells and Lake.

My very first girlfriend's last name was Wells.

My wife's maiden name is Lake.

The movie came out before I met my wife.

Coincidences big and small do happen. In the context of the screenplay, Wells and Lake are street names. Apparently those are real street names in Chicago.

But you have to admit, that is pretty cool. Not every coincidence is of that magnitude.
