He makes those purring sounds when he is nervous. I find it really annoying.

I don't find them exactly annoying, just a bad idea of using that for an aspie character, but I wonder if that happens with some aspies in real life.

I like Boston Legal, especially the relationship between Alan and Jerry, its an awsome friendship, I'd like to have a friend like Alan.

I like Boston Legal a lot. It is one of the few really interesting shows on television. I find Jerry's stiff movements more annoying than the purring. The purring is a bit unusual, though.

I love Boston Legal but Jerry ~ if I'm honest ~ is absolutely one hundred percent my least favourite character. Actually I find pretty much everything about him annoying.

I always did dislike the purring, but since I make those same popping sounds that he does, I can live with that. In fact, they make me happy.

I hate that this show is no longer going, I really enjoyed it. Interestingly enough I believe I have AS and I work with a guy who believes he has Mad Cow (and has been saying this for years before Boston Legal ever came on). So I guess I LIVE the show to an extent.
