Amazon are selling a lot of the old TV shows as boxed sets and at reasonable prices.
Ive just watched two series of Public Eye from the 60s and 70s, have Kung Fu and Steptoe and Son to look forward too.

Alfred Hitchcock, Twilight Zone.......when I was a kid I liked The Outer Limits, but I don't know if that is ever on any more. It was weirdly fascinating to me.

Sure, I love old television shows! I rent episodes from Netflix, and have been watching things like One Step Beyond, Twilight Zone, Three's Company, and am looking for more to watch. It's great fun.

I liked All in the Family, as well as Alice.

My favorite characters on those shows were Archie and Mel, respectively.

The Prisoner... only one season was made, but its wonderfully surreal, and despite initial impressions it even has a point.

It was shot on film originally, so aside from the out-of-place fashion and style it looks like a new show on DVD.

Mainy The Andy Griffith Show, but I also used to watch Night Court when they used to replay it weekday mornings on TVLand.

I am. I'll watch anything that's old and dated if I really like it. I was into All in the Family and The Bob Newhart Show a couple years ago, for instance... Darn them for refusing to release more than Seasons 1-4 of the latter. That reminds me, I need to check if they finally got around to releasing his following series, "Newhart" -- the one where he and his wife (the "Hartleys") own and run a bed and breakfast.

I mean, if a series is really well done, I just like to drink in the high production values and whole feel of it. I've rarely let society tell me what to like or hate. f**k them, ya know?
