Now that its back on, and today being Wed. and all, I figured I'd ask if any of you guys enjoy this show as much as I do? IMHO, its the top show currently on TV right now (Battlestar Galactica a close 2nd).

I am madly into LOST. However, I'm in Sweden and S5 hasn't begun yet. We are usually 2 weeks behind the US schedule but now it seems it will be delayed way more which is a real bummer... :bounce:

Lost is definitely my favorite show. I've never watched anything with a plot that's so complicated and character driven. I'm psyched for tonight's episode. 8)

Stjarna, you can watch season five on it's network's website here:
ABC Episode Player
They usually post new episodes the day after they air here. The first two of the season are already up. Hope that helps. :D

Aww... Thanks moonlight! :D But sadly, since I'm in Sweden, I can't view it. This is what I get at the ABC site:

"Only viewers within the United States
can watch these full-length episodes."

Such a bummer. I could just grab the episodes from a torrent site, but I don't want to. It's so much fun to have one episode a week to look forward to. You see one, think about what happened for a week (lol) and then you're ready for the next. It's almost a life style for me.

Well, I will just keep watching my LOST boxes until I work this out... lol.

That's unfortunate that it doesn't work. But I agree, with a show like Lost, it's nice to have a week to speculate what's going to happen in the next episode. :) The boxed sets will help. I watched the first four seasons on DVD in the two weeks leading up to the season five premier as a "review", lol.

Absolutely. :D I have seen each Season between 5 to 10 times. Really love the bonus material on the DVD boxes also!

Last I heard S5 will begin in March over here... :duh:

Ah, I love the bonus materials! I really like watching the "making of" documentaries and behind the scenes stuff. Then there's all the easter eggs hidden in the bonus materials menus to hunt down...

Not until March? That's pretty unfortunate. The US is going to be 7 or 8 episodes in by then. 8O

I become hooked on Lost again. I watched the first one and a half seasons, but then stopped cause I was having trouble following the story. But I learned last spring that you can watch all the episodes for free on the ABC website, so I spent a good bit of my summer nights watching all four seasons, and now I think it's an awesome show. I got in trouble this morning for watching last night's episode when I should have been studying for my history test

Indeed, the bonus material rocks. One thing I enjoy in particular is to see how they transform Hawaii into various places in the world. :D

@GeorgeM - Glad you're back in the game. :thumright:

It's a great show. Half the fun is getting online after an episode and weeding through the dense mythology they've created. Each episode gives us new clues as to whats actually happening on the island. Often the hints are subtle and easy to overlook, so it's fun to try to catch those little things and try to speculate as to what their meaning is with others.

I also enjoy the facetious nicknames given to the various events and characters by the fan community. They amuse me. :)

I think getting online and reading what everyone thought, trying to find clues, figuring out how thigns tie in, what it all means etc. is almost as good as the actual act of watching the show. In particular, I am a huge fan of Doc Jensen at Entertainment Weekly and his analysis of the show. how he finds all of these literary and other references hidden in the show just blows my mind...

The online fan base it just incredible. I love lurking around on different fan forums and reading all the creative theories people come up with after every new episode. Lostpedia is a really great resource too. They literally update the pages as the episodes air. On Wednesday I was looking up info on Richard Alpert and read a passage and was like "Hey... I just watched that five minutes ago!". I agree, getting involved online is just as exciting as watching the show itself. :D

I couldn't agree more with you guys! Researching and checking all the various online resources is indeed half the fun. :D
