There has been alot of hoopla made about how Howard Stern is going to change radio since he is on Satelite Radio instead of the old Am/FM. Like cable TV changed regular network and local TV.

I personally don't see it. I used to listen about 10 years ago and his schtick got old. And besides if he doesn't get to complain about the FCC anymore then he loses half of his material.

What do other people think?

What do people outside the US think?

now that he is on Satelite Radio the whole Globe can listen to him. Does anybody have XFM?
If they do have they heard him now?
Same for the international audience. What are your views?

Never heard of XFM. What's that?

Nobody's heard Stern on satellite yet - his channel doesn't start 'til 1/9. I think he's enough of a force that he could be a nice boost for Sirius. And they'll need it: They're paying $500 million for him over 5 years.

Did you say a half a billion dollars?

It would be in his best interrest to be a flop.

In ten years time he could buy the friggin thing.
