Awesome moments in otherwise bad films

Here's my top five.

1) The ending of THE MIST, where that tentacled six-legged horror looms hundreds of feet above the car.
2) CHRISTINE, where John Carpenter actually set that car ablaze and drove it down the road.
3) EVENT HORIZON, where they enter the drive room for the first time and there's that awesome light-bedecked gyroscope spinning around.
4) CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK - the sets, costumes and weapons were just outstandingly cool, and so were the space scenes. Come to think of it, this isn't such a bad film at all.
5) MISSION TO MARS - the scenes in orbit around Mars.

DATE MOVIE: In the beginning where the fat chick is dancing around town.

BLOOD FOR DRACULA: dracula convulsing on the floor after drinking impure blood. it's hilarious, i swear.

I really found the movie mediocre but I really like this song.

All of these films have their fans, but I found them all lackluster overall despite some great scenes....

Cold Mountain. I found much of the film overlong, overly repetitive, and overly cruel. I didn't like it. But I love the battle scene at the beginning--the atmosphere is so cool:

Atonement. I know a lot of critics liked it, but I honestly found much of the film boring as hell. That said, I LOVE the beach scene:

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. I loath this film. But the end battle's pretty nice...

The Matrix Revolutions. Again, the film sucks, but the end fight scene is grand!

A Series Of Unfortunate Events. I liked the movie until I realized that the end credits were better than the film itself!

Stuart Little-A generally boring adaptation of the children's book, but there were some good looking cats in it. One was a Lynx point Siamese. The real name of the lead cat, Snowbell, is Prince.

Prefontaine-A generally depressing film, but with good competition scenes.

Isabelle Adjani's full frontal nude shot in the begining of Diabolique which was a horrible remake of a horrible 1960s movie, but the nude shot was 3 thumbs up.

^^^Ah wow, the A Series of Unfortunate Events end credits are very creative. something great about the music as well.

The "Little Boy Blue" sequence in "One from the Heart".
The scene in "2010" where they board the Discovery, and also the scene where Dave Bowman returns.
The scene where Bud is saved by the alien in "The Abyss".
The gorilla sequence in "The Hollow Man".

the yoga scene in Gigli (before you say anything, no I didn't pay money to see Gigli. I was working at a movie theater at the time and saw it while working).

Snakes on a plane. Lots of good moments in a bad movie.
