I would love to tryout for American Idol in Seattle if the city has the auditions this year after the season finale. I have improved on my singing voice for the past year so hopefully I might get at least in the first round.

I know that Seattle does not have best looks or talent, but hey the famous ones like Kenneth "Bush Baby" Briggs (I actually knew him), Jonathan Jayne (friends with him on Facebook), Sanjaja, and Blake Lewis are from the Emerald City so they got to have auditions for the show soon. I am no sloutch as I am currently a college student over at Edmonds Community College trying to get my AA degree and I have worked at Safeway for eight years. I think I am due to take a crack of going to Hollywood.

I have been practing my voice since January of this year and I am getting better. I am finding my voice as I am more in the range of retro melodic rock as I have a Lou Gramm-Joe Elliot type of husky-fallsetto voice. I am twenty-six years old and I live in Seattle so I am on the bordering line of reaching the age limit to audition so I am not going to pass up the opprotunity to audition like I did three years ago.

I am not going to cry and whine if I get rejected because there are more important things in life than getting the boot. The point is that I have things to fall back on if the audition does not work out like getting my college diploma. I will thank the four judges for giving me the opprotunity to showcase my vocal range.

I think American Idol needs to give Seattle at least one more try.

WISH ME LUCK!

Unlike Fantasia Barrino who could have possibly been voted winner due to being homeless.

Although on an opposite note, I'm surprised I haven't heard news of a much bigger audition turnout this season due to the economy. (Could've been; I haven't watched the show since season 4)

Good luck!! I'll certainly be rooting for you!! (As well as voting for you ;) )
