Am I the only wicked Star Wars fan on this site? I've been obsessed with Star
Wars since 1996 when I was 3 and saw the original trilogy. My interest has expanded 100-fold since then. I know of most plaqnets that are identified in not only the media, but the books, comics, and games. I understand the politics involved in this universe better than I understand real governments. I am wicked obsessed. To prove it, here is a very important sw character that only a sw freak would now about, Luke Skywalkers great great grandson Cade Skywalker, a pirate/jedi who struggles with drugs and his destiny. He's the one with the blond hair.

I like the star wars movies and games, but I never got into the books and comics. I had to draw a line somewhere as to how far into make believe I was willing to go.

Most things happen in the books. Like Luke gets married, has a son, his wife gets killed, Han and Leia get married and have 3 children, one dies, another has a child then turns evil and dies, leaving only the daughter. The most important events in Star Wars happen mostly in the books. I dont read all of them cuz I read slowly but I have very good knowledge of the history and stuff.

arghhh... too many spoilers.

:D

I've never really gotten into the comics because they take too long but I like some of the books (the Zahn ones are the best).

I like all the movies - yes... even EP1. Jar Jar is better than an Ewok.

The best game was KOTOR, but I liked several others.

I like the clone wars series but haven't watched much of the new one ... I'll wait for the series box sets and watch them all together.

BTW: I was expecting this post to have been created by warsie. There are other SW fans on WP.

I am a fan of Star Wars aswell`especialy of the games, and I also at times go through the site wookipedia. I liked looking back on some of the information on the Sith, Jedi and a few similar groups and looking at their different concepts, some interesting characters from a wookie jedi to some ancient powerfull sith,

Lately I have also got KOTOR, though I got a bit stuck, I just got HK-47 who is like one of the best character. Now fighting some some sand people, who for some reason seem to be tearing me apart, in fact the lightsabers are doing next to nothing. I learnt a few interesting points though such as the sandcrawlers used by the Jawas in the movies were actualy brought by Czerka, the old crime organisation, for mining, only to discover that Tatooine ore is extremly corosive.

I love Star Wars! It was probably my first major obsession and it has stayed with me all this time. As well as being a big fan of the films, I also have many of the games and books. I have everything from the Truce at Bakura to the New Jedi Order. I wont buy any more until I get at least some way through the back log, which will proably take several years!

I also have a large collection of vintage figures and vehicles from the original trilogy. I'm currently in the process of scouring ebay for any weapons/accessories necessary to complete each figure.

Funny thing, I don't read the majority of the comics and books, but I read summaries and I find that I have a more spread out knowledge than most people. If yu wanna read everything produced, you're gonna have to miss out on a lot, but if you take small chunks out of each era, You're gonna be more adaptable. I correct people on the star wars forums and when I play star wars Jedi Academy and we talk about the SW universe pretty frequently because of this.

I think plenty of people like Star Wars. It's not an obsession, but I've read a few books and played KOTOR I & II.

I saw the original 3 when they came out (and the next 3 too..;) I like 'em fine, but not to the extent of getting into 'Trekwars', or any of that stuff....
