Matt Groening, a man with a mind. The Simpsons is the longest running cartoon in history, and Futurama is just plain hilarious. Think of how Groening wove together the completely different character ideas he created. Such a plethora of characters! There is Bart, the classic Brat; Wiggum, the unintelligent cop; Snake, the bad boy; and so many more. Who is your favorite Simpsons character? What episode did you like best? Was it when Maggie shot Mr. Burns, or when the children of Springfield were given a curfew and revolted. DO YOU LOVE HERMAN TOO?????

I like Lisa, she has some aspie traits :-).

Yes, Matt Groening is great. You should look at his comic strip "Life in Hell", and "School is Hell", etc. Very witty and clever, and you can tell how some of the characters were the predecessors to some in the Simpsons (and they have occasional cameos in the Simpsons and Futurama).

I love The Simpsons. The only problem I have with it is that my son LOVES it and Futurama. Being that he is 9 years old and repeats things a lot in public, I try to keep him completely away from futurama and The Simpsons. When he gets really excited he tends to go through ALL of his various Simpsons quotes, which goes something like this: "I'm a brick," "Can Lisa come out with her hands up?" "I can't see anything in this fog, DOH DOH DOH DOH DOH" "Will you be my mommy?" "You smell like dead rabbits" "Why don't you just take my blood, psssss, yess, i'm old" "it's Bart's Moon party from outer space, with R2D2 playing the base"

Anyway, you get the idea LOL

My favorite simpson?? Uh, prolly Homer. He's too funny, really (like that time with the tennis game competing with marge?). But Marge is a second choice.

I Love John Swartzwelder's episode called "Homer's Enemy" with Frank Grimes.

It's total genious to me.


"BECAUSE I'M HOMER SIMPSON!! !! !! !! !!"

And the drawings of Frank when he had his outburst are just plain Hilarious!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !!

How do these guys do it!! !! !! !! !! !!

John is helping writting the movie.

I beleave it's coming out July 18th 2007

So we got a year to go (counting Tuesday).

It's coming on DVD on August 15th!! !! I MUST GET!! !! !! !! !! !! ! :lol: :D
