I agree though, picking a favorite episode is impossible... but I think my favorite sketch would be when Peter's in the doctor's office (episode "Fat Guy Strangler"... the rest of the ep kinda disturbed me though)

Just out of curiosity, how do people from the UK feel about the show? It seems like some of the bits would seem offensive to them (like the "British Porn" sketch)

I'm not certain who my favourite character is. Probably Stewie or Brian, though. My brother has the first season of Family Guy on DVD, which was the first experience of family guy that I had. I really liked it, so now I try to watch it on TV.

Stewie is by far the best character in Family Guy, has me in fits of laughter every time I watch it cos of him.

I would have to say Brian, although it's a close call between him, Stewie, and Peter.

By the way, this past Sunday's episode (Patriot Games) was the WORST...EPISODE...EVER!!

When I began to notice family guy permeating onto TV, I naively believed it concealed some deep political message. At the very least, I thought, the title must be in irony. But I soon realised that Family Guy is the projects of fun-loving cartoonists who seem to want to do anything but, write a cartoon with the merest sense of a story.

Weinstein is okay, but I can't watch it because everytime I watch, my sister has to watch. The jokes she repeats from the show have gotten us mean looks from almost everyone. I refuse to let her watch it because our best friends are Jewish, and I don't want her to screw it up.

I don't have a favorite character--I love them all! But if I had to pick one, I'd say Brian. I love how everyone on the show takes a talking dog for granted and that a lot of times he's the voice of reason.

My favorite episode is the one with the British Porn scene. When my girlfriend's depressed, all I have to do most times is lean over and say, "Almost...almost...almost...there!" By that time, she's usually grinning or laughing hysterically.
