Hmm, good question, I think I kind of like everything with this site
Been browsing the Articles-section for a while and got some useful tips about social behaviour like eye-contact and small talk. Then after a while i got around browsing the forum and it just seems like a nice site. People who has likewise "problems" like myself ^^ When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder):
Currently under investigation (suspected AS/ADD). If i get diagnosed it will be early next year

Been working as an IT-consultant (programmer/network tech) for 7 years, currently unemployed after my three years at the university went to hell. (Get paid by the goverment right now ^^)

Hobbies and Interests: Many interests: Physics, Math, Art, Philosophy, Literature, Psychology, Music, used to play computer games, occasionally sports, love nature, lots of interests but can never get myself to take any of them seriously, my head is always in the clouds and time is never on my side.
Why are you here? I always knew that I was different to the point that I felt that I have some greater purpose in life, just didn't know what was the matter with me exactly, stumbled upon this site and hope that maybe here I will find the answers to my questions and perhaps make some sense out of life and the things that make it difficult for me.
When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): a few months ago I accidentally came across a youtube video describing this condition (aspergers) and thats when I made the self diagnosis, I'd have to say I'm 100% sure I have it (describes me almost perfectly) , dont know what else I might have too 
Favorite subjects: Never liked anything really as a subject in school, except maybe art, but it doesnt mean that I'm not interested in the fields covered in these subjects.
Year/Grade: freshman at college (1st year)
Favorite music: metal, rock, classical, pop, whatever sounds good, not bounded by genre, btw I love listening to music and it really helps me to deal with my emotions, can listen for hours...
Books: Just can't seem to get myself to read any book (not that I havent read anything with over 500 pages), but when I start I just cant concentrate (ADD???), have many titles on my mind, would like to start from classics and then move on to more modern titles.
TV shows/Movies: I like tons of movies, science fiction, comedy, historical, documentary not much into anything romantic but enjoy any good movie that isnt just based on violence and special effects, it's nice if it stirs up some emotions. As far as TV goes: seinfeld, scrubs, star trek, documentaries, lots of stuff, no problem concentrating here, lots of time invested into TV, hasnt payed off yet (highly doubt that it will).
Instrument: I used to play piano and guitar, again, just couldn't concentrate on taking any of them seriously, would like to start playing again. Need an amp.
Do you like sports? I like mostly all sports, ok at basketball, not so good at soccer, used to be good at swimming (competitive), tennis is fun too. Can't say that I'm really good at any of them except that I was pretty good at competitive swimming. Like sports, but never really that good at them although sometimes tend to surprise myself.
Family: Mom, dad, sister, grandparents, relatives, haven't started my own family and dont plan to do so any time soon.
Clothing: Anything that I feel comfortable in, not into any specific dressing style, though I like to think that I look cool 
(not sure though if i do).
How did you find this website? Googled aspergers, desperate to find something enlightening.
Job: I'm in college, so my job is to be a student and not to be a financial burden on my parents and to lie to them about my bad grades so they dont have to worry like me.
Plans for the future? So many plans, no point writing anything down, but future doesn't look too bright as of now, so many plans but unable to motivate myself to start working on realizing them. Would like primarily to graduate from college, but before that I need to learn how to deal with this specific condition called aspergers and learn to live life without being controlled by it, although I find that many people on this forum live highly productive lives so I come to think that maybe aspergers acts positively in such cases, just not sure if thats my type of aspergers.
Any comments? Well I would just like to say HI to all the members of this forum and I hope that I can find the answers to my many questions from people who are in the same boat as me. Thanks for reading!
P.S. I would find it helpful if somebody would show me where is recommended to go from here in this forum.

Hobbies and Interests: reading, walking, listening to music, walking while listening to music at the same time, and finishing my thesis. Dear god, I need to finish my thesis. I also spend quite a lot of time at my work.
Why are you here? To meet other people with ASDs/ to learn about other autistic people's experiences and whatnot.
When were you diagnosed? 6 yrs old, then again last spring
Favorite subjects: Whales, arctic marine biology, rats, animals in general.
Year/Grade: N/A
Favorite Music: Rufus Wainwright, The Arcade Fire, sometimes Neko Case, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Decemberists and more.
Books: Whales of the World (out of date, but still awesome), Jim Henson: The Works, anything Temple Grandin. I don't know, I just really like her.
tv shows/movies: Scrubs, 30 Rock, Sealab 2021 (1st and 2nd seasons), Arrested Development, and yeah, I watch Top Model cause of the aspie chick *looks down in shame*

Do you like sports? Oh no, no no no no. In middle school gym class I used to sit in the out field and stare at caterpillars. Apparently that's inappropriate. It is called an out field, right?

Favorite subjects: spelling and reading
Year/Grade: I graduated in 2002 from Coleman High School.
Favorite music: Any kind of christian music. Sometimes I listen to soft rock and country.
Books: the Bible. I have a lot of books, but I don't read much.
