I just joined the site. My mum and grandmother think I may have borderline asperger's. I'm am slightly sensitive to loud noises, I have trouble reading body language and making friends, I never was interested in "teen" things during highschool, except for clothes and makeup, and I think sometimes I have obessions. Anyway, I just joined so someone could help me find out if I have any form of asperger's and, if I do, what I can do about it?

Have you looked on Tony Attwood's website? There's a questionnaire there. Depending on your final score you can tell whether you are likely to have Asperger's.

OK. I have just been on Tony Attwood's site and didn't find the questionnaire there, but it is reproduced at the following URL:

http://www.udel.edu/bkirby/asperger/asp ... twood.html

The questionnaire will require you to remember how you were as a child. Have you got a relative who can help you do that?

Welcome, ChicCanadian. You might also like to check out the AQ (Autism-Spectrum Quotient) Test created by Simon Baron-Cohen and colleagues.

http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.html

The accuracy of online tests such as these has been hotly debated. At the very least, you will get an idea of what behaviours are looked at in determining whether or not someone has Asperger Syndrome.
