When were you diagnosed? It was first suggested that I might have Asperger's when I was 10 back in 1994 but because there was not a whole lot known about the disorder the doctor didn't make a formal diagnosis but back then I was a text book case and I still display most of the symptoms.

year/grade: graduated in 2003 and went to college for three years before dropping out

Why are you here? Until two days ago I'd never heard of Asperger's Syndrome (although I suspect, now, that my grandfather has it and we just don't talk about it) and my life was falling apart, and no one could figure out why. Now, I'm beginning to have an idea of how to put it together again.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): not yet

Favorite subjects: band. English and history could almost be added, if it wasn't for the analyzing.

Year/Grade: 3rd year university, majoring in anthropology, and I really don't like it.

Favorite music: everything, I love music. It's the only thing that makes my brain stop a running monologue.

Books: fantasy novels, generally.

TV shows/Movies: sci-fi/fantasy

Instrument: piano, sometimes flute and percussion, voice.

Do you like sports? not so much, although I'll play the annual round of neighbourhood hockey.

Plans for the future? trying not to scream in terror as it comes barrelling towards me? Although suddenly it looks a lot less scary.

Any comments? This questionaire alternates between finishing the lines with ? and : but I've been reading on the forums all night, and I am SO glad other people think like me!

Comments-I do not believe you can cure Asperger's. You live with it, and I don't mind. It makes me who I am.
