What can I say, I'm a 17 year old girl diagnosed at 3. I got lots of OT PT Speech early on, and well, one of my bigger goals is to be like other people, sorta 'jumping the hurdle' I call it. I kinda find it funny that I've just now thought about searching out a group of people like me, ironically enough, I've alwayhs thought of myself as being from another planet too, so the logo struck me as being kinda funny lol.

I am currently attending a vocational HS where I am studying to become a computer technician and get my A+ certification. I love computers and I play PC games like 6 hours a day, I am even in a big clan for battlefield 2! :)

Anyways, I just came here to talk with other people like me and I look forward to getting to know y'all.

So you would have been diagnosed with Autistic Disorder, then? A+ Certification? What's that? I've done several MCP qualifications, but not enough to qualify for a MCSE qualification. I do horribly on the exams. Problems with the way they're worded, and my understanding of them. I did a 6-month stint as a computer technician, networking and stuff. Updated all their computers, some 100 or so, to high-end machines running Windows XP Pro. Then they just shunted me off and basically told me not to come to work anymore. Still, it was fun. We used to play networked games of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault on the servers during lunchtime. Had a little medallion the daily winner would get, heh.

Hi! Welcome to the site. You sound like a neat person (and one that'll fit in fine here :) ). Everything's all a little frazzled now, but things'll settle down in a couple weeks. Thanks for introducing yourself.

I was gonna train to get an A+ certification myself, but decided against it. I'm more on the programming/computer science kinda side, though the money is definitely in people who can competantly fix/maintain computers.

Hi Ceej, I got diagonsed with Autistic disorder when I was 2, I did not talk until I was 4 (maybe earlier). I dunno if I got much help when I was little, I did a year of special needs kids playgroup and three years of special school.
