Sorry I'm just obsessed about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
I'm new here, 16 years old, and from Hong Kong. English is my second language so I'm not really fluent in it, normally I speak in Cantonese, which is a language that sounds absolutely terrible because it's like all the '!' in the sentences get a pronunciation, so what goes expressed only in tone in English becomes 'WA!' and 'AH!' in Cantonese. Excessive 'WA!' and 'AH!' in conversations can be very very annoying.
Not diagnosed with AS, just did one test on the internet which says I'm AS-positive. Did some research on the web on AS and found this. Hopefully I'll have better luck finding friends here than in the real world.

A Calvin & Hobbes fan! Welcome, and watch out for bloodthirsty dinosaur fighter pilots.

YAY CALVIN AND HOBBES
i love them so much but it's hard to get a copy of those comics in HK, but our class were forced to subscribe to an English newspaper in HK which still has Calvin and Hobbes comics, still haven't read all the comics because it's very hard to get the full collection, but I do have 'Yukon Ho' as a birthday present last year.

"Good morning starshine, the earth says hello" is actually s song from the late 60's musical Hair. Willy Wonka is supposed to be years out of touch with popular music, hence his eccentricities. :)

i love the death note movies though i heard it's very different from the original manga. you know there's this new movie coming up with L as the main character? it's called L: Change the World, it seems very cool, really want to watch it.

The first volume of the anime on DVD came out a couple of days ago in Australia. I got it yesterday, and am loving it. I have also seen clips of the live action movies, and think that the live action L is pretty good, so it'll be interesting to see how he does in L: Change the WorLd.

Welcome Transmogrifier.
You know I had a transmogrifier when I was younger... I never got it working... my mother insisted that it was just a cardboard box.
Proves what grownups know huh? :D

I like the original film of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with Gene Wilder.

Also, the actor who played "Charlie" in the original film lives in Upstate New York not too far from my home and works as a
Veterinarian. Apparently, Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was his first and only acting gig...he didn't do anything more
after that film.
