Was browsing this forum for a while and thought I'd give it a go, as I have a personal interest in ASD. Not much to say other than I'm a psych major currently in my second year of study and engaged in an internship where I am in quite a bit of contact with the Asperger population. As I developed something of a special affinity with that particular population, I started to observe that many of their behaviors/interests were remarkably similar to mine, to the point where I started to wonder if I had the "disorder" (really hate that term in this case) as well.
I've always felt and acted dramatically different from my peers, and associated with others who were equally eccentric. During my childhood I was officially diagnosed with ADD and Bipolar as well as OCD, though this all seems like a bit much. During my research I discovered that many individuals with ASD are misdiagnosed with exactly these disorders, which only contributed to my general curiosity regarding my own diagnosis.
Well, at any rate, I took the RDOS test...
Your neurodiversity (Aspie) score: 167 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 36 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie (neurodiverse)
Diagnostic prediction for Score Prediction
OCD 181 Your diagnosis is very likely correct
Asperger/HFA/PDD 170 You very likely will be able to receive the diagnosis
Social phobia 158 You very likely will be able to receive the diagnosis
ADD/ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder) 141 Your diagnosis is very likely correct
And though I realize it is no substitute for an actual professional diagnosis, it does further encourage my suspiscions.
