Hello world (or should I say "planet"?)!

After reading the posts on this site in anonymity for the past few weeks, I have decided that it’s about time to introduce myself. (Although now that I’m here, I remember just how bad I am at writing introductions - oh well, too late now!). I am a sixteen-year-old girl living in NC. I was just diagnosed with AS a few months ago, and I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that there is something other than “crazy” that explains my idiosyncrasies.

Some of my interests are fantasy/science fiction (+ 5 points for anyone who knows where my screen name came from), physics, mythology, weather patterns, and infectious diseases. My personal hero is the pointy-toothed bunny from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”…

Ok, I think that’s about long enough for an introduction. I look forward to getting to know you fellow WPers on the forums!

Lelia and Viola, I was just joking - I am not really keeping score, but if I was I would give you points anyways for being honest. My screen name comes from one of the shapeshifters (someone who can change from a human into an animal; in this case, a tiger) in the series of sci-fi books by Sergei Lukyanenko beginning with “Nightwatch”. I recommend them!

Thanks for all the welcomes, and especially for the link to the video; it made me laugh!
