me too. i currently have 18 of them. and i do quite a bit of field observation of them as well. i am a huge Crotalus fan.

do you do any snake hunting?

no guns, except for personal protection. i usually just catch them, photograph them and then release them. i keep some for my collection. you can hunt them by hiking around in suitable habitat and flipping logs, rocks, etc. the lazy way to do it is "road cruising", which is basically driving around on back roads really slowly at night. you get them as they are crossing the road. hiking at night works as well. the only time i kill anything is if it is needed for a museum collection.
