hi there, welcome.
i actually never understood why you are called kiwis...
ok, been away for a while surfing and found this:
'Any of several flightless birds of the genus Apteryx native to New Zealand.'
I guess that's why.
or is it because of the 'fuzzy brown egg-shaped fruit with slightly tart green flesh'?
or both?
well, never mind, forget it :)

Hello there, and welcome!
Am undiagnozed, too. But come to think of it, I have an autistic cousin. So it runs in the family. I won't be surprised if I have AS. It's nice to hang out with an aspie sometimes.

Hi Kiwikys, from another Kiwi :D
Aspergers is just being differently minded, we view and see the world differently, its at the very core of who we are. Since being diagnosed just over 1 year ago with aspergers myself, I have found understanding and acceptance really is the key, to true identity. My son has also now been diagnosed and we are both very happy and proud to be on the autism spectrum. It has taken me all this time to really discover and allow for my differences... being on the autism spectrum is someink you can not rush, but if you ever need any advice I will be happy to help.

Welcome Kiwikys!

Had to look up Oamaru on google maps. Turns out I drove through there December '06 on my way from Christchurch to Dunedin.

Hope to be down on the South Island later this year but will be on the west side this time.
