Well, this is it.
This is post #25,000, and like I said in advance, it would be my final post, as I ride off into the sunset and proceed with my career goals, which are finishing college and getting a very rewarding position in the GIS or urban planning fields.
It was an honor to meet all of you, and while I may have some disagreements with some of the members on here, everyone was interesting and fun in their own way. In the nearly five years that I have been on here, I learned about new things, concepts, experiences, and ideas--some more memorable than others. But I also learned more about life and nature in general.
While my issues regarding finding and choosing a romantic partner remain unresolved, I had gotten a lot of advice, some I listened to, some I didn't. But thanks for listening to me when I did have issues, even if I didn't necessarily agree with all of you.
And thank you for always being there as I made my moves from Houston, to Wichita Falls, and then to San Marcos, and during my political shift from conservative to liberal to a conservative/libertarian mix.
My retirement applies only to the forums, I may still pop up in chat when time permits, and I can be reached at my e-mail address, and at any of my IM screen names (I use Yahoo the most often, by the way). And who knows, after graduation, I may surprise you with an update post, and maybe come out of "retirement". All I can say about that is keep you eyes open.
It's been a wonderful ride, and maybe our paths will cross again someday. And like you've wished me the best luck in my ventures, I wish you the best of luck in all of yours.
Best wishes and God bless,
Tim
