Hello all. I have a six year old son who has been formally diagosed with AS. My husband has not been formally diagnosed, but he feels he fits the criteria. We have joined this forum because we are already tired of the "professionals" and their assessments of our situation. We feel that the best information has always come from those who live it daily.

There is a genetic component involved in Autism and the Asperger's Syndrome, so it is very likely that your husband does meet the criteria for such a diagnosis. Unfortunately, services for adults living with Asperger's Syndrome can be difficult to find.
