I'm a 19 year old college student. I was diagnosed with Aspegers when I was very young. I've been told that I have great potential all my life and that I am a very smart person, but my mind is all over the place and I have scarcely been able to produce any truly brilliant work.

Anyway... does anybody think a private art school would benefit me better than a public school would?

I do not think brilliant work is produced instantly, my best reports from university took a lot of time, work and failed experiments. Sometimes I get lucky, but most of the time it is hard work; even when people consider me more intelligent than most of my colleagues.

I cannot offer you advice on the art school.

But maybe you find some answers here on WP.
Good luck here!
