Hi. My name is Joseph, although you may call me Joe if you want to. I'm self-diagnosed with AS , although two therapists suspected that I had it in mental evaluations that I had to undergo in order to receive disability benefits for another condition (fetal alcohol syndrome) that I have. I live in Augusta, GA with my family, and I'm 25 years old. I'll be turning 26 in late May. I've been single my ENTIRE life, so that hurts just about as much as everything else.

Thanks for the welcome. I appreciate all of them. I just hope to understand myself in a way, find support, and maybe, just maybe, turn around my romantic fortunes too. I hope to get to know everyone within the next couple of weeks or so. Once again, thanks!

Are you are a still a young guy. You are free from stds and that's a big plus the more you age. It's fine to be single, some dudes on here are ten years older than you are and still trying to find someone. It's all fine. Aspie life is not supposed to be easy.

Welcome. I just joined too. I'm going on 33 in May, still alone and single, and only one relationship in life so far. In that one, She got my sense of humor, which was critically important. Other stresses compounded to the point we broke up. But there are genious women that want men that can think as deep as they can about complex stuff. She was an electrical engineer! Don't fret (I do that too!). I continue to trust what my grandma said from the beginning about me: "When ladies catch up to you, you will be a hot commodity!". Keep the faith!

welcome to wrong planet joe, im a newbie too only joined yesturday! im sarah by the way, from england......such a great place to be lol. as far as relationships go, its a pain trying to find someone who you get on with and understands you. ive had that problem more than once with guys ive been out with, you're only young though so there is loads of time for you to find someone
