Hello! :)

I'm from Germany (Europe) and I'm living in the near of cologne. I was diagnosed with the asperger-syndrome in the year of 2007 after a lot of wrong and illogical diagnosis and years of confusion, depression and anxiety. The asperger-syndorme is still very unknown in my city so I have many problems every day and no one does understand my perception of environment. I left school in 1990 therefore my english is veeeeery bad, but somehow it's very difficult to translate german thoughts into english language. I'm sure there are already a lot of embarassing mistakes in this posting, hope you don't mind!?!?

Greetings from Germany,
Hyperakusis

Our nicknames almost rhyme!

Hyperakusis
ViperaAspis

Taking out the common letters, your name becomes Hykus which sounds like a nice house plant. Maybe a cross between a Ficus and a Hyacinth?
My name becomes ViAsp ...sounds like the next cure for male impotence. Try new ViAsp! Now cherry-flavored.

From one side of the pond to the other: Velkommen!

What do you like best about Germany? Do you have a favorite German car? I have a family relative who would buy his Mercedes directly from Germany rather than from a Dealership in the USA.

Nice meeting you!

Your English is great in my eyes. It's nice to meet you! Please enjoy your time here... post as much as you like. Don't worry about your English. :3 (I imagine you'll even be able to find other autistic Germans here too.)
