My name is Andrew, I am 42 years old and will be moving to Warrington, England at beginning of August. I have Aspergers, Autism and Social Anxiety disorder. So, I guess i come under PDD non-discriptive. I been living in united states for almost 20 Years, and more american now. But was originally from the UK. I only recently learned of my condition. Before then, I didn't understand why i was the way i was and considered myself more Vulcan from Star Trek, or Sybok from Star Trek V. The name of this site is appropiate, since in essence i have always felt like a alien on another planet, like i was sent here by mistake. I like Dungeons and Dragons, but haven't played the game since the earlier editions. I have never met anyone like me, so maybe this site might put me intouch with like minded people. Since there are over 27,000 people on this sight, I guess we make up less than 0.111100000% thats not counting worldwide, but rather statistics in only united states and to the opposite sex. Even then, those figures are very generous. So no wonder we can't find a girl that understands us. I also use to be interested in spirituality, not religion but i guess i still feel a interest in that. Since fate can play a game at times in things, i think. But this is a very low percentage, since so many people, animals suffer. Well, just kinda throwing myself out there in the void and would like to look at things like in mythology, like there is some bizarre plan to everything without calculating statistics...so i can feel normal. This site is pretty scary, but good! Now, how do i post this, god-damnit!!

Thank you for welcoming me. I appreciate it. I think the Vulcan in star trek voyager is Tuvok. He is cool. Him and the holographic doctor are my favorite characters on the show. Although, my favorite star trek is DS9. Star Trek helps me feel normal. I can understand those guys! Well, most of the time. It's the real people i don't get.

Tuvock, yes.

DS9 is my favorite of the Star Treks also, even though using Torek Nor as a mining/slave labor camp makes me want to throw things at the TV. I went to Philadelphia last week with my brother to look at the Star Trek exhibit and loved looking at the details of the costumes. I'm glad they also had posters about just how bad the science is in Star Trek.
But back to DS9-- Every time the Captain kisses his son Jake I just melt inside.

I enjoyed the stargates and firefly but my favorite series is Babylon 5.

What did you think of the newest Star Trek movie? Image

I thought it was awesome, and I'm bummed that it's out of the theaters. Would love to go see it...again.

Jake and Sisko are very close, they have the ideal father and son relationship. I haven't gone to any star trek exhibits or conventions. I use to live near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and I think they had one or two, but unfortunately i missed them. I like the costumes as well, but always thought they should have pockets, like black cargo pants and jackets. When Captain Picard use to wear his Jacket over his gray uniform I thought that was cool.

I haven't seen the new star trek movie. I guess i will see it when it comes out on dvd. I heard or read somewhere they was making two more star trek movies that follow on after that one. But, I am not sure. I am looking forward in seeing it. I wish paramount would of created a DS9 movie. I liked the uniforms in star trek the motion picture, aspecially when they left the ship and was wearing like field jackets or something. Even the security personal was armored up in that movie. I think why i liked the original star trek was because bones would always joke around with Mr Spock.

Since I didn't like any of the previous star trek movies, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the new star trek movie, even with the cliche bad guys in long leather black coats. And I couldn't figure out how these teenagers got to run a starship. Oops, that showed how old I am.
