Hello, Everyone!

As indicated, I have been scanning this site for quite some time now, but I felt compelled to post to thank you all for the comfort and self-illumination I have derived from this community. I thought I was alone until I read about AS in an article, and then pursued the topic further online. It was a revelation to see dozens, if not hundreds, of life stories almost ripped from my own experience. This site has provided invaluable context for my own behaviors, which I struggled to comprehend and explain up to that point. It was a bit overwhelming to discover that there were others like myself, after believing that I was an anomaly for so long. That knowledge alone has made a profound difference in my approach to life, and has given me a kind of hope I did not previously possess.

I have trouble with brevity, so I should probably practice it now. Thank you, again, and I look forward to engaging further with this community in the future.
