Hi!

I am a 19 year old Aspie and happily living with my 22 year old Aspie boyfriend. I love him so much and we are best friends, but I still get really bored. Lately I have felt guilty because he has friends to hang out with and talk to online and I don't. I know it's not fair to rely solely on him for my social interactions (and he's gone a lot!) so I'm looking for some Aspie friends who would want to chat on skype or aim.

I'm online nearly all the time and really lonely! If anyone is interested, just leave a message here or send me a PM with a bit about yourself and your contact info.

I am interested in pretty much anything! Including: Chinese language (I speak at an intermediate level), pet rats (I have 4), movies, independent/obscure/arthouse/foreign movies, music (everything except rap and country), writing (novels and movies), Aspergers (I love to read books and do my own research), Doctor Who (just started watching the old stuff, but love the new stuff a ton), Firefly/Serenity (my fav), and lots more.

I am really easy going and love to chat about really anything....

Welcome to the forum. I'm 16 and I also have AS. Sometimes I get bored and lonely too, and seeing as I joined Wrong Planet hoping to meet other people in a situation similar to mine, I would be happy to talk to you.

I'm also looking for friends, preferably female becuase I'm more comfortable with that. I've been trying to get some aspie friend from my area but Nova Scotia seriously seems to lack aspies or anyone who is good and understanding. :(

If you want to look for friends on here to meet irl, you might want to put what state you're from on your profile at least if you feel comfortable with that. Also, look at others' profiles who are willing to list where they are from, and try connecting with them.

I think talking on here tends to be more relaxing than most other forums. There's not so much pressure to "fit in with the NTs."
