Also, fun fact: I loathe the term Aspie. It sounds degrading to me, even if it is commonly used by people with AS.

Why are you here? I've been diagnosed with ADD (not hyperactive) but I suspect that I have Asperger's or some other autism spectrum condition.

When were you diagnosed?: Diagnosed with ADD about 8 years ago, I think.

Favorite subjects: Pre-college: math and biology. College: Same but also computer science and linguistics.

Year/Grade: Out of college for quite a while now. BS in Computer Science, MS in Internet Engineering.

Favorite music: Ranges from oldies to southern rock to classical to new age. Anything but rap or hip-hop.

Books: My taste in books is almost as broad as my taste in music. Science fiction, travel (especially motorcycle travel), technology, history. John Ringo, Joe Haldeman, Kipling, Frost...

TV shows/Movies: Babylon 5! Others as the mood takes me, which isn't often. My imagination has a much better special effects department than Hollywood.
