Hi everyone I'm new to this forum, it's very likely I have aspergers and I've known for a while now been on the internet for about a month now so hear I am. Aspergers is in my family and it just so happens I've got it. Had a go at getting diagnosed recently but to be honest the gp didn't seem that interested, I think maybe they worry that you'll stay away from work and claim benefits or something (not that I have anything against those with aspergers that choose to do so, working with people is an absolute nightmare).
I'm not sure to what degree I suffer from it I definately have a lack of social skills I haven't had friends since leaving college roughly 8 years ago, I also become very obsessive with things to the point where it interferes with my work and personal well being (stop eating properly for example).
In a nutshell I'm very happy to be here
