Newbie here- Hello, Wrong Planet!

This has been a little overwhelming. About a week ago, I was reading about AS on wikipedia (I spend a LOT of time reading about things on wikipedia) and while reading the article, it felt like I was reading about myself. The anxiety I feel when I'm in social situations, my nervous tics, the problems I have had connecting with people, and my various obsessions that I always felt the need to have one-sided conversations about finally have an explanation. When the realization set in, I was relieved to finally know what it is that is different about me. Now, I am anxious, too. I have a lot of questions, and I hope I can find answers here, and I hope that I have also found a group where I can feel like I belong.
