Living away from home/Newcastle NSW Australia

Hey guys and girls, havn't been here in a long while.

Start of the year I moved out of home and I'm now living by myself in Newcastle doing college. Guess I'm not finding it as difficult as when I first got here, except for one thing. I just suddenly came to the realisation that since I have been here Iv'e never had any social contact with anyone and the lonliness is starting to get to me. I still have freinds back home, and a girlfreind but unfortunatly she is not allowed to live with me here, and we are both finding that really hard. If anyone has any tips on dealing with missing freinds I would like to hear them, apart from obviosuly keeping in touch.

I'm not having much luck finding any freinds at college, so yeh if theres anyone from this area on here and wants to say hi please do.

I'm not far from Newcastle, I live in the valley but went to uni there. There are plenty of social groups at the uni if you need an outlet, depending on what your interest is. It can be hard but there are options.

Hi, I'm glad you're not finding living on your own too difficult. I don't live in NSW or even in Australia for that matter, so I can't help you in that respect. I do hope you meet some people closer to you through this forum.
