Hello, my name's erik, I need lots of help, but then again who doesn't right. Basically I am 32 now, diagnosed with PDD and components of aspergers and autism, but don;t know if i really have it, I smoke weed, drink, etc try to fit in, yet have my own special traits as we all do. Went to college the biggest mistake in my life forever, was not ready for the real world, got involved in the world of crime. Now i am just trying to figure myself out, I am on luvox, but i think it is making me more sleepy and moody than ever, I love metal music of all kinds, and metaphysics, etc. well someone get in touch with me.. a bit nervous my first post.. I want to learn to freely express myself and others with the same ... ideas.. :)

Hi erik, welcome to WP!

If you're still smoking and drinking on the luvox, that may be what's making you sleepy and moody--never mix that stuff with psych meds (I'm sure you know this already, but I study that stuff so I feel compelled to say it...sorry  ).

Anyway, I hope that being here helps you figure yourself out. That's what I'm trying to do too, plus help others along the way if I can.

This is definitely the place to "freely express yourself"--glad you found us.

Btw, if you're interested in self-diagnosing, here's the site I used:

Again, welcome aboard, we're glad you're here. :)

Well, you're right on the edge. You did say you've been "diagnosed with components of asperger's and autism," so that may be what the test is indicating.

I would print it out and take it to a psych evaluation if you're planning on getting one. Ask the psychiatrist what he/she thinks. These tests are not 100% accurate. It was enough for me, along with acknowledgment/recognition of having AS from a professor, but many on here will tell you to get a professional diagnosis if you really want to know.

In either case, glad you're here if it helps you figure things out, hope it does. :)

Thanks Cockney and Jetlag, I always seen this site for years, but wasn't sure how to start, it is like a mistake within a mistake, if i would have seeked help before would things have been different? Is there always another life lesson? I was made fun of beat up the worst, even in prison and forced to fight and spit on, i don't want a pity party, but...

i need to find a better pharmaceutical or find a good holistic drug that works naturally, what is aspergers to me or us, or what is it if it was cured? what is my personality and what is the so-called disease? or is it a blessing..
