having Asperger's

Has anyone been diagnosed wth AS or just self diagnosed. I have some systems but not sure if I have it.

diagnosed proffessionally (lol) with AS and ADHD.

I've also been diagnosed professionally. I think it's worth stating that a professional diagnosis of AS does not necessarily mean you have AS, although the positive diagnosis is a very strong indicator. This is because the diagnosis is based on evidence amassed against criteria. I don't think we're far off a test that involves a scan of the brain or a test on particular genes.

i was diagnosed other things and then my mom found out about AS... she asked for the diagnosis because i was more like AS.

but yes officailly i am AS (or HFA or PDD-NOS depending on which "proffessional" you talk to :P )

I am self diagnosed. I likewise sometimes "suspect myself of being just a very naughty NT troublemaker with Aspie traits" but then I have a day like yesterday and then I have no doubts.
